Hello, Is it possible to use~5 seconds of footage in a short film? It is a personal non-commercial short film that might be entered in an indie film festival.
Please let me know.

Subject: Slick, Nice Try
Despite fine editing, switches from live action to animation, solid narration by Michael Rye and some nice background neutrals from the Langlois Filmusic library, this short is dry, dry, dry.
"...such as turning and facing cuts on irregularly-shaped jet engine parts. The machine is a vertical turret lathe equipped two dimension tracer control." That kind of dialogue isn't going to hold much of an audience, especially in a 27-minute film.

Though too long, this film is an excellent overview about why YOU, and yes, I'm talking to you, should take your company into automation. Step by step is explained in detail.. It's somewhat boring, but at least they have great shots of things being made. From cookies to lightbulbs. No complaints about that here at all.
